Cadenda is the only other single country-continent besides Ravanmark.  There are two other landmasses; one houses three countries, while the other sank to the bottom of the sea during the Rending of the World.

Cadenda is the home of Ravanmark’s current king; King Caleb.  Caleb was the third son of the King and Queen of Cadenda, engaged to Queen Farrine of Ravanmark only after she had ruled for two years.  Perhaps because they are the only two continent-countries, Ravanmark and Cadenda maintain tight diplomatic relations.

Cadenda will play a larger role in the second book of the series, Redeemer of the Realm.
